We believe God’s Word gives us clear direction to be strong and Godly leaders in our home, church, and community. It is our desire to see all men mature in their calling as leaders and to do so by knowing and applying the Word of God in our lives.

Doorkeepers

Life is all about Jesus. Worshipping Him, serving Him, serving Him by loving others and
helping one another succeed in their calling.

In Ephesians 4:11 & 12, Paul says that God has given leadership to the body to help the body mature, help others serve the Lord in ministry and build them up.

One of the many ways to serve at MCF is to help in the Doorkeeper Ministry. Practical “hands on’ giving is what this group of servants are all about, and if you want to get involved this is a great way by handing out bulletins, serving communion, helping in the parking lot and generally loving all who come to worship with us. (Psalm 84:10)

Men’s Backpacking Trip to Seven Lakes Basin
September 19 ~ 222010

Pastor Jim as we hike some of Oregon’s most beautiful mountains.
Spend 4 days camping in the Sky Lakes Wilderness, spending time in the Word,
worshiping our Lord, and enjoying the beauty He created.

We will meet on September 19^th at MCF after service
We’ll return on September 22^ndin the afternoon to MCF

When: Sunday, September 19 ~ Wednesday, September 22, 2010

Cost: $35.00 - This includes transportation, 1st meal on Sunday,
and one meal on the way home. You are responsible for 9 hiking meals.

What to Bring:
Tent, Sleeping bag, Sleeping pad
9 meals for Sunday night thru Wed lunch
Headlamp/ flashlight
Rain gear, Hat
Mosquito repellent, Sunscreen, Water bottle
Fuel canister & stove provided by MCF
Sunglasses, Hiking boots
Shorts, Warm clothing
Extra socks, Snacks, Lighter
