In our 1st through 5th Grade Ministry our kids get age appropriate teachings from the Word of God. Our goal is to touch every major story from the Old and New Testaments so that our kids have a working knowledge of the Bible when they move on to Middle School.
We spend time in class teaching the Word, singing praises, doing crafts, praying in small groups and playing games. We are in partnership with the parents in “training up our children in the way they should go so that when they are old they will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6.
We also have a Parent Co-Op where each parent helps out once a month to share in the teaching and care of their kids. Our desire is to create a fun and safe learning atmosphere for our kids so that they can grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
